AZ LD5 Dems 1st Chair - Lin Ogburn

AZ LD5 1st Vice Chair -
Lin Ogburn
linogburn@gmail.com

Lin’s intro to politics was a college canvass for McGovern and organizing protests against the Vietnam War. A political junkie early on, she worked on campaigns with the Democratic Party in Kentucky throughout the 70’s and 80’s before finding her passion for environmental issues. She was Vice Chair of Concerned Citizens Coalition, an Environmental Watchdog group, for several years before moving to Arizona in 1998 with her job as an advocate in disability law.  She jumped back into politics in 2015 and served as Vice Chair of PC and Neighborhood Teams on the Board of the old LD28. Following redistricting Lin has been the Field/Data Coordinator for the new LD5.  As the new 1st Vice Chair of LD5 her goal is to expand the PC/Volunteer Base and encourage PC involvement not only in our elections but also in our Phoenix LD5 community.
